Dead Gaze makes lively music.

So I get loads of albums daily, and I dutifully file them to the side to listen to when I get a chance. Sometimes that means music can sit there for weeks before i get to it, but I always get to it. And sometimes, every once in a while, I crack open an album that's been in my queue for a while and immediately regret not listening to it sooner. Dead Gaze's Brain Holiday is one of those types of albums. It's not out until October 22, but they are on tour now (though sadly they skipped Chicago) so I'll wait to do a full review on Chicagoist, but you can get a taste of what turned me on some much below via the stream of "Rowdy Jungle" off the forthcoming LP.
